Tips for bingo
Online bingo is a game of chance but some strategies exist to allow you to increase your chances to win.
Here, you will find several tips you can put into practice during your next games.
Choosing the BINGO site
First of all, it is important that you carefully choose the site on which you are going to play. Some sites benefit from a better rate of redistribution than others, sometimes reaching 95% to 98%, a rate that is always more interesting than what you have in real casinos (75%).
Take the time to read the stats for different bingo rooms, or reviews present on the site, before you start playing.
The number of players
In order to increase your chances to win, it is recommended you play games with few players, since the less players involved the greater number of cards you can play with.
Therefore, play during the week rather than the weekend.
If your goal is to win a lot of money quickly, take an interest in the sites offering the biggest jackpots. Then, it is better to invest a great amount of money to win an important jackpot (superior to the invested sum) rather than medium jackpots.
Choosing the tickets
Since the tickets all have the same probability to win, you should play with several tickets and different numbers, because two tickets with the same unannounced number are two losing tickets. Moreover, your chances to win increase with an automatic card marker. Indeed, you do not take the risk of missing an announcement or not seeing a number and thus letting victory pass you by.
Joseph Granville's theory
Joseph Granville put forward a theory on probabilities, which is mainly applied to 75 ball bingo games. He determined that there is the same amount of numbers ending in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0. There is also the same amount of even and odd numbers, and the same amount of high and low numbers.
Therefore, you should choose a card where all these elements are respected. The ideal card is consequently a card with 7 even numbers, 8 odd numbers, with all units present and an homogeneous representation of high and low numbers.
Statistician Tippet also has his own method: according to him, the 75 balls represent “a population”, which has 38 as the “average population”. Therefore, you need to have number 38 on your cards. If it's a long game strategy, it is better to choose a concentration of numbers around 38 and if it's a short game you should choose numbers close to 1 and 75.
In the case of online games, it is also interesting to go to forums to find reviews of different games and to chat with players to know how many cards they have, in order to have more than them.
